I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
